DEMO: Super Mario Bros. 3 ported to Switch 2 with HBLauncher, shown by Chona_Pardo
Category: DEMO / proof of concept. This is not a release. User @Chona_Pardo, the same one who had shown ftpd-sb working, posted on X on Oct 24, 2026 that he ported Super Mario Bros. 3 to Switch 2 using HBLauncher. According to him, he started from a 'decomp' he already had, meaning a version of the game's code rebuilt from the original. The post includes an image from him and quotes the HBLauncher announcement by @ravensclawx.
Context
Nothing changed in the jailbreak status: HBLauncher runs on top of ns2jb, so it is still research / proof of concept on firmware 23.0.1, tethered (depends on a computer and is gone after a reboot), with no kernel access and no CFW. See also the DOOM demo by byizmysh, already on the site.
