DEMO: YouTube shown running on Switch 2 by byizmysh
Category: DEMO / proof of concept, not independently verified. This is not a release. On Oct 25, 2026, developer byizmysh (@byizmysh), the same one behind the DOOM and Half-Life 2 demos, posted a video of about 5 minutes on X saying YouTube is running on Switch 2, using the #ns2jb hashtag. He says the project is based on VacuumTube, an app that brings YouTube's TV layout to the computer. In the video, the YouTube interface appears working, with search and video playback, inside the SmileBASIC 4 application.
Context
Nothing changed in the jailbreak status: it is still research / proof of concept on firmware 23.0.1, tethered (depends on a computer and is gone after a reboot), with no kernel access and no CFW. Everything comes only from what the author posted himself. His earlier demos (DOOM and Half-Life 2) also have no code or release, and his launcher (IZlauncher) still only has an introduction page. This site does not publish step-by-step guides, commands or downloads.
