IZ2S Platform: byizmysh releases a modular homebrew platform for Switch 2
On Oct 27, 2026, developer byizmysh published version 0.16.0-rc.3 (a release candidate, meaning a test version) of IZ2S Platform (formerly IZlauncher) on GitHub, a modular homebrew platform for Switch 2 built on top of ns2jb. It has two parts: a panel that runs on a computer (only Linux x64 was tested; ARM64 is declared but without full validation on the console) and the IZlauncher menu, which appears on the Switch 2 through SmileBASIC. The only module that comes with it is File Exchange, which gives access to files only inside SmileBASIC's own area. Other modules are separate projects by the same author: BlitBun, which streams a PC window (video and audio) to the Switch 2, and VacooTube, a YouTube player based on VacuumTube.
Context
This is streaming and menus, not native execution: the author's documentation describes videos like the GTA V one as streaming a game that runs on the PC, not the game running inside the Switch 2. It is still tethered (needs a computer and is gone after a reboot), with no kernel and no CFW. The project's FAQ says File Exchange does not give unrestricted access to the console. All of this is still research and proof of concept, with a risk of brick and ban. See the earlier note on byizmysh's YouTube demo. This site does not publish step-by-step guides or download links.
