byizmysh releases IZ2S Platform 0.21, with a Switch 2 menu that keeps running offline and sleep mode support
On Nov 4, 2026, developer byizmysh released version 0.21 of IZ2S Platform, the experimental platform that opens apps and modules on Switch 2 on top of ns2jb, the SmileBASIC 4 flaw. According to the release notes, after the first launch from the PC, the console menu (IZlauncher and IZPSlauncher) and supported local content keep running offline, and the menu no longer closes by itself if the PC connection drops. You can also put Switch 2 to sleep with the launcher open and resume later, as long as SmileBASIC and the native session keep running. The version also adds support for the M5Stack Cardputer ADV, a tiny computer with a keyboard, as a way to type on the console; modules open in tabs inside the panel; there is file access with Super File Bros. included; and there are new desktop installers.

Context
Caveats from the release notes: opening and closing modules, file access and streaming still need the PC connected; if the connection drops, it does not reconnect by itself; and it is tethered, meaning that starting a new session after ending the current one requires a full console restart. It is not a CFW (a modified system installed on the console): everything depends on SmileBASIC and the open session. The Windows and macOS installers are still experimental, according to the author. It is an experimental tool. Switch2Unlock does not provide games, keys or firmware. This site does not publish step-by-step guides or download links.
